Good riddance to rubbish. College sports is a business, pay the athletes and stop pretending that the vast majority of money sports--football and basketball--players are really students.

I was suspended from Reddit for suggesting the organization should be “burned to the ground” (advocating violence). I appealed and got a perma-ban.

While the rich may get richer in the short run, I think it will disperse talent. The big programs will spend more on upper echelon players and won't be able to stockpile... It's water money.

Thus other teams access to the stockpiled players.

Not exactly sure what the point is, I do think NCAA was a bad org, but seems that this just effectively creates a new basketball league that kinda 'happens' to be associated with secondary education.
