IRC.com

Friendly reminder that the real successor of freenode is at https://libera.chat/ , irc.libera.chat:6697 (TLS) Including freenode staff.

Everyone has left freenode.net aka irc.com. Andrew Lee (rasengan) promotes his takeover business.

Denouncing "cancel culture" and then bragging about "draining the swamp" in the same paragraph?

One good thing about the freenode takeover was that everyone just moved somewhere else. This, however, soils the entire IRC name and there's not a good way the community can really fix it. Maybe someone could throw money at it, but this guy might not even have a price he would sell at.
