Huh?? The book he wrote is literally linked in the first paragraph

a) I'm referring to his diatribe about bad books. Now we will see articles about how books should be written. The entire article is a about why he wrote the book. That's what I meant about "meta...".

b) Citations. Making claims about how awful coding books are without examples is a bit thin, IMHO.
