Helm takes beautiful simple yaml config and obfuscates it. I'm convinced it was created by people who can't let go of the puppet/chef mentality. Kustomize won this battle, it's built into kubectl and keeps your yaml clean and elegant. Helm is dying, but it needs to die faster.
