Usually the people who have done the best are the ones who’ve already been investing when things were boring. Those who were already in the stock markets before it dropped and rebounded were the biggest winners. Those who steadily increased their crypto holdings when it wan’t all over CNBC came out well (even with these recent drops). Those who bought homes out of housing necessity suddenly saw their home price go up in value. The good thing about FOMO periods is that it gets everyone to start investing, the bad thing is that it attracts people who don’t like boring financial consistency and who like wild swings.
