At a certain point even the most robust regulatory processes are going to give way to desperate searches for hope, no matter whether they make sense.

There hasn't been a drug for this in 20 years.

And evidently there still isn’t, as this drug doesn’t appear to work.

I have a drug that is just as effective, will the FDA approve it too?

If you can get people to believe it, maybe.

Get people to believe I have a drug that hasn't been proven to work yet despite attempts to do so?? That seems pretty easy.
