AI and data science dev here, in the trenches.
My rule of thumb is that the overlap between jobs AI can replace and RPA can replace seems to be almost 100% of AI capabilities.
The successful AI projects I've encountered usually either build something totally new or augment the existing workforce.
It can be hard for us technologists to appreciate, but the inefficiencies of technology, policy, and people configurations can't always be resolved by technology alone.
