Not related with the project itself and IANAL, but the anime pictures in readme may have some risk of copyright infringement.

I'm not sure, it's a WYSIWYG editor for LaTeX? How does it compare with Scientific Works? Does it save the results as LaTeX files? Which packages does it support?

PS: Here in Argentina is usual to write

  $\sin^2 x + \cos^2 x = 1$

instead of

  $\sin x^2+ \cos x^2 = 1$

Yeach, you're right, all of packages are hard code in backend, you can found it here: https://github.com/zhyd1997/Eorg-Server/blob/209a142c687a566...

Also, you can download the source code and compile it by your local machine, which can add any packages you need.

That's like 1/10 of my usual list of packages :) . (My coworkers complain a lot about my overuse of packages.) What about amsmath/amssym/amswhatever?

You can clone the project from github and customized it as you like for your personal working.

LyX. LyX is the best editor I've ever enjoyed using, and achieves this same goal.

Yeach, I also have tried it, and other tools like TeXmacs, Overleaf...

It just a toy project, and I want make it more meaningful and get more impressions.

Here is my project that make students and teachers writting their paper, and don't need care about typesetting.
