Self-Driving Cars Could Be Decades Away, No Matter What Elon Musk Said

Waymo is already running a Uber like service with no drivers.

So is it already here to some extent?

It will certainly take decades to roll over fleets of vehicles, especially since the price will need to come down for all to be included.

I also imagine that it will depend on locality for climate and regulatory reasons.

I am struggling to understand why the media gave so much credibility to diverless cars in the first place.
