Microsoft says error led to no matching Bing images for Tiananmen 'tank man'

According to a comment by Microsoft [0]:

"This is due to an accidental human error and we are actively working to resolve this,"

”Human error” makes me wonder if someone purposely was only supposed to block it in certain countries but accidentally blocked it everywhere.

Reuters really thinks the world is stupid. You know search engines won't make this error on the anniversary of Jan 6th. But just a coincidence this "error" works in favor of the CCP.

Are we really that dumb?

They're just reporting Microsoft's statement, they're not reporting it as facts.

I had completely forgotten that Bing existed till this news hit. Could this lead to a variant of the Streisand effect where Bing gets more coverage and usage?

StreiBing Effect

Oh c'mon that was a good'un!

The internet does not like humor sir

All the first google images are of tank man... the Bing images (which were previously empty) are of random tanks not tank man.
