Fosshost Enters Partnership with Freenode

Nary a week [1] after leaving freenode over the catastrophic management decisions made there, Fosshost partners with freenode to "launch co/cross branded public and tenant-facing SaaS offerings".

Much can change in a week.

And three days ago they were still saying they were on the brink of going bust: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=27329890

This couldn't be a more transparent attempt by rasengan to brandwash and buy his way into FOSS.

$o much can change. Wonder what $et thi$ into motion and what con$equence$ will ari$e from it...

The change in tone is very concerning:

Before: https://paste.debian.net/1199777/

After: https://docs.fosshost.org/en/home/what-do-we-expect

And then: https://nitter.42l.fr/nicolas09F9/status/1400121795458523136

The old Code of Conduct seems to have moved to https://docs.fosshost.org/en/home/mutual-respect-policy. Doesn't seem to be linked from the new CoC, though.

Fucking sellouts.

I wonder how much Andrew Lee paid Fosshost to pull this dirty stunt.
