Or if you can't drop Google Drive, use something like Cryptomator. I use it on top of my OneDrive and it works really well, both on all my desktops (Windows, Linux, Mac) and Android.

I’ve thought about that, but for now I can manage with rsync. I’ll look at it again if I have to collaborate with non-technical people though.
