Good "old" SFML, I made a lot on that. But now I feel(&fear) is dying.

It's very well written and, in my experience, it beats SDL in everything ( from readability to functionalities )

All I remember from the SFML days are subtle bugs and a grumpy maintainer. SDL is still the superior library.

The last release was back in 2018. Why is this posted now?

the repository has activity recently and people do stuff in whatever they see fit

the only drawback I saw is that it seems to be OpenGL based - that will last some time though
