They already have. Uber is down 80% passenger drivers. They left because of Covid, many switched to UberEats and have not come back. The O’Hare waiting lot is empty even on busy days.

Yes. Riders are paying more and drivers are making more. But riders see no alternative. People under 30 without a car in the city will pay the higher prices.
