"But since launching an Android version this month, Clubhouse has seen one million Android users join."
We don't know if these 1 million Android users downloaded the app just to check out what all the hype was about, how many times they've returned, and their participation rate.
App downloads ≠ usage
Main problem is I dont even know what Clubhouse really is. Is it supposed to be some kind of talk radio or what?
Each chat can be one speaker, a panel, or a group conversation.
Special features are large groups (up to 5000) and the "curation" that isn't really a feature but affects popularity and engagement.
There’s no way to search or filter for current rooms. Filtering as in filter by category. At least that would be something. The “curation” makes it hard to make an analogy with radio. Satellite radio has tons of channels. It gets tiring seeing rooms useless for me via the “curation”
