Durov is the founder of Telegram, and thinks 60Hx phone screens are Middle Ages. I guess the article is discredited Telegram by association with its immature founder?
Seems like Durov aired some personal opinion on a consumer device. Probably to inform others who might be interested in the same performance areas as himself.
