Honestly, what did he do to all of a sudden run against the news media that these antagonistic articles surge.

Prior to the divorce and especially during Coronavirus party-mode he was sacrosanct. Now that Melinda is out, he is super target one.

Does anyone have any suggestions on creating a connections list to figure out if Melinda is planting the stories to wane the leverage of Bill in the coming divorce?

I agree, it seems like there must be something happening under the surface to paint such a target on Gates's back and cause such a dramatic 180 in the press coverage. Seems doubtful it's just about the divorce.

Not really. One of the richest men on the planet divorced. Naturally, people are interested in backstories now. So media starts digging and finding things.

Even if they're not directly related to the divorce, the divorce announcement makes it newsworthy. I believe the Eppstein link was already known, but it's (re?)surfacing now worth more interest.

Note that if Melinda had been the CEO tycoon, she might have been the target. But as things stand, we attribute the success to Bill and therefore care more about sordid stories about him than her.

Why all of a sudden we now hear stories about Gates's relationship with Epstein. Feel more like people relating to Melinda's circle leaking to the press. This is a good thing, we didn't get the chance to hear from Epstein himself maybe now we know some of the hidden truth.
