Ask HN: Design Mentor?

2 pointsaigoochamna2 comments

I am a software developer by trade (10+ years). I am learning web design on my own at the moment but I believe I could improve more if I had someone to critique my designs, offer advice, etc.

What is the best way to find a mentor to help with something like that? I am willing to pay money, or trade my own time if they are interested in software development.

It's more oriented to career growth, but some mentors also do portfolio reviews

I don’t work as a Designer but I do dabble in web development and design in my free time. Would gladly take a look at some designs and lend my eyes for some critique/advice.

Any way to contact you?
