The Spanish Witches of Cartagena

Maybe there is some connection between the Spanish Inquisition and AI, given that most AI/ML systems end up reproducing biases inherent in the data/beliefs of those creating them.
There was a case in Spain (or maybe Portugal) in which Jews were tricked into converting and were then judged by the Inquisition.
Then again, I don't think rules were really a problem.
From Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inquisition):
"The Inquisition, as a church-court, had no jurisdiction over Moors and Jews as such.[10] Generally, the Inquisition was concerned only with the heretical behaviour of Catholic adherents or converts.[11]"
Everywhere. And not just from people i “disagree” with.
