Vitalik Donates $1B of $SHIB and $Akita Tokens to India Covid Relief

tldr; lots of meme coin projects sent their LP tokens (https://www.benzinga.com/money/how-liquidity-provider-tokens...) to Vitalik’s (ETH founder) address as proof they wouldn’t “rug pull” the project by removing liquidity and dumping all their coins.

Vitalik today then used the LP tokens to remove liquidity and sell all of the meme coins on the same decentralised exchanges, crashing the price in the process.

I believe he donated the proceeds plus the remaining meme coins but that should be fact checked. The meme coin financial values are now significantly less because of the large sells by Vitalik.

There isn’t much liquidity available to sell more of them on decentralised exchanges so you would have to sell the remainder on centralised exchanges currently.
