Ford Patents Tech to Annoy Drivers with In-Car Advertisements

My dream: this will prevent other auto manufacturers from doing the same for 20 years

Reality: other manufacturers will be totally down with paying licensing / doing a tech exchange for this

So I clicked on the link, expecting to be properly outraged, but the whole screen went dark and an intrusive ad appeared, blocking out the article.

Of course I wasn't driving.

If they don’t use it, and refuse to license it, it wouldn’t be a bad thing.
