Show HN: Custom REST API Generator

Hey HN! I’m Jamie, an engineer at Retool, and am excited to be posting this on HN.

I read about how tailored demos help customers get to the magic moment of understanding your value prop faster: https://www.sequoiacap.com/article/the-templeton-compression.... But building a demo that your customers identify with is challenging and time consuming.

So I built a quick tool to generate a REST API with read + write endpoints on top of a sample dataset you define in less than 30 secs. We've used this for hundreds of demos to help customers see the use cases that are most relevant to them.

Hope it's useful to you all too - any feedback or questions welcome! :)

Saw this on Producthunt earlier today. Looks really clean and useful. It is also, and probably most importantly really easy to use. Looking forwards to use it in the future or recommend it if someone has the need for it!
