I think there's a larger elephant in the room in regards to exponential rate of printing.

Different kinds. Tether is printing tether to prop up prices in the market and enrich themselves. The federal reserve actively manages the currency supply to achieve full employment and 2% inflation rate in basic goods. How can you conflate the two?

After 4 years of tether FUD can we finally put it to rest?

Also, this is about Ethereum not BTC… which is the primary target of tether complaints. Not even the most hardcore conspiracy theorists suggest tether is being used to buy Ethereum.

Have you read this? Their leadership signed a statement admitting to substantially everything that we’ve accused them of over the years.

I'll put it to rest the day they provide an audit. I don't understand how they could possibly keep printing tens of billions without any proof of actually holding anything, and how everyone is ok with that.
