Never Forget a Task Again
I am the Founder of an Enterprise SaaS startup in India. We have lately grown fast, from 15 members to 85+ members in the last 1-year.
As the team grew, we faced our own team and work management problems. A big challenge that we faced is that of constant follow-ups with internal team members for various tasks. Basically, a person A assigns a task to person B. Later, A forgets it and B also forgets it and the task never gets completed.
Maintaining this task list and the follow-ups is tedious. For instance, the Sales Team has to follow-up with the Product Team for some feature releases. Over and above client follow-ups, the last thing we want is an additional load of internal follow-ups.
To solve this issue, we created a simple internal reminder tool. Person A can simply enter the task details on the tool and assign it to person B. Person B will then get automatic periodic reminders over email. The best part is that the person A will also get email reminders when the due date is approaching.
The tool essentially automates the following activities:
- Remembering the tasks - Follow-ups with team members for task completion - Negotiation of the due date of completion
It has saved a ton of time for our team and we are planning to open it up for other high-growth teams.
