Climate law jeopardizes freedoms of younger generations, German court rules

As much as I'm in favor of stabilizing the climate, perhaps this ruling is beneficial from the perspective of it protecting citizens from excessive legislative zealotry.

Correct, it's just not fair that up and coming generations should have to burden most of the effects of very tight regulations. It seems to me that we should think through any proposed laws very carefully before committing them to legislation.
