At least I now think I understand what they are trying to do. I personally don't have that many problems running Chrome on my laptop the traditional way though.
Not everyone has a 100 mb connection, I'd say it's in the minority. I live in a suburban community within five miles of a top 100 university and I've been trying to get a fiber connection for fifteen years. Two fiber bundles run within fifty yards yet I cannot access them.
