New rules allowing small drones to fly over people in U.S. take effect

Bad idea. Flight paths will be used to create private databases of high resolution information (TSCM+ a decade ago fits on these) about any target worth it. The desensitization psychology is equally bad if not worse. This "oh they have some ADSB-like-thing" is worthless. Good luck tracking a violator, like any object, these are only getting easier to create. It will become trivial to send these on a mission without comms.

The big quazi-nation-state TLA front operators will do everything possible to prevent a permanent public log of each flight's path.

Executing a hit will become vastly easier and cheaper.

Think of them as flying supercomputers with cameras (soon to be NIR) exceeding the spacial resolution of any animal.

Spare me the "can do that now" bullshit. Incrementalism is a powerful psychological warfare technique.
