Alerting for something like "blue lives matter" mentioned in article seems like projecting political beliefs a bit vs some of the actual racist content you see in Nextdoor.
blue lives matter is essentially a racist slogan given the context that its responding to "black lives matter" which is about, among other things, black people being murdered by police

If Chauvin is not convicted of murder then BLM will most certainly still campaign for him.
Therefore “killed” is more accurate.
Maybe people's families are more important to them than not being called racist by a corporation.
