What a joke considering the damage is already done. Big tech coordinated to censor a major communication channel based on politics they didn't like.....during a presidential election season. This should be used as ammunition to break up Apple's monopoly on the app store.

The election season was already over and the inauguration was less than two weeks away when Parler got banned.

Are you implying the ban was warranted at any point in time?

The reason for the ban was for failing to have a content moderation system at all. I think that was a fair thing to require.

And now that Parler has proven it has a system in place, Apple has allowed them back on to their storefront.

There are a lot of potential issues with the Parler ban -- namely the revelation of how monopolized online distribution is. But the ban had legitimate reasons behind it.

Planning a coup is not legitimate political dialog and no company should be required to host it.
