Space has limitless potential and moon is the obvious place to start if you're serious about reaching for the stars.

Some would argue that Mars is a better first step, but either way the idea is the same.

It's not a huge amount of public money here $2.9bn and it helps develop the Starship rocket which has a lot of potential applications.

Humans will go extinct if we do not leave the earth, if not by an asteroid then it is guaranteed that the sun will eventually expand and burn up the earth.

The survival of humanity depends on figuring this out, why put it off?
