Egypt Seizes Ever Given Ship in Suez Canal, Demands Compensation

Not surprised they want more Baksheesh [0]. Seems like par for the course for the canal [1]

Raises the obvious question: What is a second hand 1,300-foot container ship worth?

Surely not $1 billion?

I’d probably just leave them with the possessed vehicle.

On Egypt’s part it’d be an easy tourist attraction.
