The word "woke" is a pejorative applied by the right wing towards the left wing. It really doesn't have any specific meaning, other than "liberals are bad."
Just the headline tells me that this article is designed to provoke outrage among right wingers.
Well maybe read the article before commenting - Anybody that knows Greenwald's work, will know that he's a progressive. I too am a progressive, but some younger, intelligentsia progressives are employing 'cancel' culture in a way that is NOT progressive, but very often fascist. The old adage, two wrongs don't make a right, applies here.
