Do you have a nonzero comment delay (minutes before your comment appears) configured?

Have you seen a comment get downvoted to 0 well within this period? E.g. comment delay of 10 minutes, comment goes to 0 while you're editing it, less than a minute old.

I have suspected some crooked mods at times when I stated something true and yet it was DV'd. Mods are supposed to be above petty shit....

I don’t think the two or three mods around here would bother since they seem to be pretty nice.

Does the delay setting also delay your comments from appearing on your profile? If not you might want to consider if you’ve annoyed someone enough to write a script that crawls your comments and insta-downvotes them.

Datapoint: I cannot see this comment (1 minutes old, at time of editing) if I search for comments by kazinator from a private browser window where there is no logged in HN session.

Was that during the configured window of time when the comment is supposed to be invisible?

I.e. are we on the same topic?

I'm not concerned with the truth value of the comment or other content matter.
