Clubhouse data leak: 1.3M user records leaked online for free

Looks like it's a scrape of public profile information from Clubhouse.

Also it reads more like an advertisement for the author's services.

I'd like to see a more credible source.

It seems like everything they have is basically information that you can find by looking at someone’s clubhouse profile. I thought they had something serious like a phone number.

This seems more like a scrape than a leak. I’m not sure companies can really be blamed for scrapes of public information.

The Clubhouse user ids also appear to be sequential, so this looks like a pretty low effort endeavor.

Yeah Clubhouse has already been scraped, I was taking a look at their API the other day it’s pretty much public by default. Someone with enough accounts and IPs could stream every Clubhouse room theoretically.

I've been too cynical to look into it further, but it sounds to me that Clubhouse is what we used to call a conference call. Is it really different than that? Just wondering.

so? Once you enter your information online assume it's public on way or another.
