It is already capable of driving by itself, albeit its not perfect and not in all situation. Tesla never promised its perfect.

What do you think "full" means? In my mind, the "full" implies "in all situations", in contrast to the limited functionality of autopilot.

FSD and autopilot are two completely different things.

Yeah, I know. Maybe a better wording is "the limited functionality of a system like autopilot."

My point is Full Self Driving implies it's "the real deal": A self driving car you don't have to pay attention to at all. Not "Advanced driver assistance on city streets."

Did they promise the brakes are perfect?
