The Overedge Catalog: Misfit Research and Tech Organizations

To the author: thank you for collecting these!

After many years, I finally figured out I'm most at home, job-wise, in a research-oriented engineering capacity. I highly recommend it to people wanting to dig into CS more. My current gig is at a government contractor that specializes in research. (Email me if you'd like to know more; username @ Google's mail service.)

To the point: is it worth listing for-profit organizations that work in this area? It would have helped past me a huge amount simply to know that there are places like this out there.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you appreciate this. I'll reach out separately to learn more about your current position. And there are a number of for-profit organizations included, though I tried to focus on ones that are more unorthodox than traditional startups.

Been looking for this for a while. Thank you.

V. valuable resource, thank you.
