Hmmh, did they? If so, they (or rather that article) didn't explain it well. It rather seemed that scientist discovered a mechanism by why the human brain grows so much larger than the one of the great apes, but no explanation is offered as to why it does. What's the evolutionary advantage of having such a large, energy consuming organ?
