Ask HN: Login with GitHub – we lost access to our Digital Ocean account

I convinced my manager to let us move one of our internal tools over to Digital Ocean two weeks ago. Since then we've lost access to our account and I have egg on my face. Can anyone offer any advice?

-----

We signed up to Digital Ocean using our Github account.

A few days later we upgraded our Github account to the Team plan, and now we can no longer sign in to Digital Ocean via OAuth (the original account is now an organisation, not a user you can sign in with)

We've reached out to DO support several times via email and Twitter and they've been unresponsive, and now I look like an idiot for recommending them.

I just thought I'd post here on the off chance that someone has encountered the same issue or can offer me any advice on how to get this resolved?

Thanks, and feel free to laugh at me :D
