Neat but will someone explain to me how on earth we can date these two rocks to within 1.5 million years of each other with a straight face?

That is only a measured difference of approximately 0.1% right?

EDIT Im not on either side... Doesn't matter to me which is older.

The science here is very well-established: http://www.meteoritestudies.com/protected_dating.htm

That 20 year old unpublished paper was challenged by at least one NASA scientist. I am still hungry for understanding here.

It wasn’t “challenged” by that scientist, the scientist provided additional information about the newer state of the art.

More to the point, if you are enough of a grown up to critically analyze the validity of an article and won’t be satisfied until you get something peer reviewed, then you are enough of a grownup to do your own research. Again the science and high accuracy of radioactive dating is very well-established. Generally the only people who disagree with it are cranks who believe Adam and Eve happened 10,000 years ago.

What is the purpose of your comment other than being an obnoxious troll?

You have supplied nothing but your bias, for which you get neither my thanks nor my further attention.

So well established that ... You ... Can't... Provide... A ... Reference.

Yeah, where is your reference? That's what "grown ups" do...

Wheres your brain? Where are your manners? Both gone, evidently, as I am the one who has asked for proof in a polite way. Maybe you should go back to trolling on reddit?

Actually I was supporting you on this one. I was replying to the parent.
