Hi HN! I’m Arda from HockeyStack.

HockeyStack makes web analytics easy to use and understand, while still allowing for powerful analysis.

- It is completely no-code. All actions are automatically tracked without the need for “.track()” functions - With the user journey map and filtering options, you can analyze more sessions in a shorter time than when using session replays - You can segment users who did certain actions in order to optimize the conversion rate of that action - The dashboard is organized into clear-cut categories, so you can easily navigate through the data, as opposed to the cryptic organization in some other tools like Google Analytics.

I hope this will be useful for some of the less technical or busier people here.

You can start a no-credit-card free trial and later use the HACKERNEWS25 code for a 25% discount if you decide that HockeyStack is the right analytics tool for you.

Ah, great product! I was getting sick of heatmaps anyway :) Can you explain how this is better than heatmaps?

Heatmaps can be a great way to visualize mouse hovering but other than that it doesn't offer a great deal into the actual experience of the visitors on your site. Even a scrolling action is reflected on the heatmap. Our user journey feature can show you what they clicked, scrolled, searched etc. and using our powerful filtering options, you can clearly see how they interacted with your site. Not as dots, but as real people and their journeys :)
