"Agile" or scrum is one of the worst idea in software development that can happen to a company.
I've only seen it kill creativity in lieu of "productivity" (which really is a code word for reporting to management/downwards micromanagement)
It is a mistake to adopt any agile process when the management does not have what they call the agile mindset. Both the words "downwards" and "micromanagement" are already warning signs that the company will do better with a different process.
