Ask HN: Get GPT-3 access by helping someone with months of experience use it
I've been building stuff with GPT-3 months. You'll learn to use it by using GPT-3 to help a high school student* write scholarship essays, which are due soon.
My projects have been on the frontpage of HN 3 times. I lead a startup in the gaming and computer science education industries. I'm Triplebyte certified iOS, Android, Frontend, Generalist, and DevOps engineer. I'm also a user interface/user experience designer.
Every scholarship in the USA is unique and requires their own special essay. I have a higher chance of getting a scholarship if I write an essay customized to that scholarship. So, to apply to as many as we can, we will write a GPT-3 prompt that takes a scholarship description and writes GPT-3 prompts for writing an essay for that scholarship. This is called a "metaprompt"– a prompt that writes a prompt.
Feel free to ask me any questions my experience using GPT-3 or becoming a software developer at a young age.
* The high school student is me. I'm the developer who's been on the frontpage of HN 3 times.
