I found it just straight up hostile given that there is no technical reason for needing my contacts to send an invite.
It soured my view of Clubhouse enough that I uninstalled it.
If they did, maybe I need to lower my privacy guards? I’m confused.
I have an android phone just for testing various apps, but I am not convinced that busy execs would allocate time and effort to that, but they do have assistants I suppose. Would love to know the data on this.
Experienced uploading contacts list with Viber and then Wazzup had this after signup, so it’s entry a house rule, nobody forcing you to join the club.
Pretty scary when they will normalize data in between platforms based your phone number or emails.
Also in radio or mobile companies they will keep temporary a history audio recording.. so makes sense, but not for the private rooms man.
