Show HN: Covid Vaccine Availability for CVS, Duane Reade, Rite Aid, Walgreens

We've updated getmyvaccine.org to add new pharmacies. All data is collected ethically and legally. Welcoming collaboration if anyone has access to additional pharmacy data. Aim is to make a "Kayak for Covid".

Unusable UIs lead to slot waste and deter users. This will prolong the pandemic and endanger lives.

You just unblocked two elder folks in my family. Thank you.

nice!

The vaccine rollout is such a mess in the US. This is one of those times where a federal controlled distribution or at least a state level distribution makes sense. People rushing around between different providers or having to use third party websites, like this one, in order to compare providers, like they are trying to get a PS5, is hugely inefficient and chaotic.

I should say - thanks to the author though for trying to make the best of a bad situation! Fantastic community initiative.

This is really neat! Works great for California, NJ, NY as far as I can tell.

A nice pre-zip-code-entry might be a way to see a visualization of all the areas you have mapped as having access to vaccines? (my first thought after entering Phoenix and Santa Fe zip codes was... hmmm is this broken?)
