An incomplete list of complaints about real code

And here I am, just wanting to get paid to do work in whatever language those who pay me want me to work in. They want me to do it in a VM and store my timesheet in Sharepoint? Ok.

I don’t need it to make the world better or fulfill my emotional needs and improve the lives around me. If you need me to just process some XML files in a robust fashion - I’ll do it.

I mean, I have my opinions, but I am just soooo tired of having to debate it.

Just pay me, let me end the day at agreed upon hour, and have a vacation from time to time. And if we never speak about culture, I’ll be happier on the inside.
