Obviously a good thing that apple supports organizations that help young people and their families, I just wish they would also support youth in poorer countries or at least not support and knowingly tolerate child labour. I wonder how much anxiety, depression and physical damage their complicity in child labour caused for children.
I'm glad these youths are loved and cared for. I'm also troubled by our recent cultural obsession with asking youths to question their gender and sexual preferences.
As someone who benefited personally from Encircle, I’m glad to see them get support. And, maybe more important, recognition on a large stage so that more people can be aware of the work they do.
