Free Ruby/Rails bootcamp for underrepresented groups

I’ve been discouraged recently seeing a bunch of friends from under-represented backgrounds being rejected from PAID tech bootcamps because they didn’t pass the screener.

Forget that. We have enough problems with diversity in tech without limiting access to the education itself.

I’m going to be running a 4-week (Mon-Thurs, 5-7pm ET) virtual intensive bootcamp on Ruby, Rails, HTML, & JS starting March 1st. There won’t be a fee.

If you are (or know someone who is) from a under-represented group that has been put out of work by COVID and is exploring positions in tech, please sign up for details here: https://forms.gle/HyQ74GnSXbfQPWJk6

Additionally, at the end of the course if you pass the final project - I will send your name to recruiters at every tech company I know along with an endorsement. If you’re a company that’s interested in this, please sign up here: https://forms.gle/RhjWE23pLLUCoN4n6
