Hey there HN, developer here.

I made SinglePageCloud.com because I once found an ec2 instance that had been sitting there for a year running and I had no idea I was paying for it. Ugh.

And Amazon doesn't make it easy to get a single page view of your resources across all AWS regions AND all your accounts.

So I figured maybe this will save other people money too.

It's a single page that finds all your ec2 instances and all your ebs volumes across all 16 AWS regions. If you have multiple AWS accounts it will search all of them.

While I can read the disclaimer that your keys are not sent anywhere, there is something about entering access keys into a 3rd party site on the internet that I just can't do.

Is there a way to run a self hosted version that I can sandbox?

It's a good question I'll think about it.

If it is any consolation, the suggested AWS policy only allows view only access - I.E. doesn't give access to any data, nor to the ability to change anything. As you can see when you go to SinglePageCloud.com I'm sufficiently confident in it to publicly hand out my keys.

All I'm saying is I understand your concern, although the worst that could happen is what I am already doing, if you use the view only policy.

Yup exactly my thoughts. Great work though. Would have loved it if it was open sourced, or a blog post explaining how someone could go about doing this on own.

Any word on support for Google Cloud? Looks interesting so far!
