It appears someone has gone insane and has decided to blame his woes on the author of curl.

It isn't upvoted enough to receive HN's hug of death but seems like it already has.

they're just such an ego-centric irrational detached little bastards. fear & ignorant little shit, pissing into the wind & angry their piss is all over themselves. it's so easy for the passions of outrage to take people over, to outshadow reason & let a person recede into ignorance & anger. the pathetic & sucky are the biggest threat to society, every time.

It's like the good old days when we dressed up people with Down syndrome in court jester costumes and made them dance.

The person is mentality ill. Their sentences break with grammar. The have no literal meaning. Commenting on anything they say ("He’s already stated that he’s lost $15M of business") is meaningless.

Perhaps how to respond might be worth talking about. I think it's simple. Do not. Don't blog. Don't email. If you have to, talk to the police.

It's possible they are a GPT. I think if the AI ethics people weren't the awful people they are, this is something they would have discussed by now. The two will overlap and it will become an actual ethics issue, especially when GPT tries to act like they are mentally ill.
