Twitter verified accounts keep being hacked en masse

Imagine the July 2020 hack but it happens everyday. A hacking group is able to steal many verified accounts to post a crypto scam, everyday

today at least 4 accounts stolen in less than a day and changed to impersonate elon musk, all by the same group:

I know it is the same group because it posts the same website addresses

This has been going on for way too long. To get an idea of the profitability of the scam and why it persists, I have tracked three major actors. The least skilled of the three, who does not used hacked verified accounts, made $5-15 million by my estimate. let that sink in.
